Meet Tonia & Delightful Insight, LLC
With nearly three decades of excellence in the field of banking regulations and auditing, Tonia is widely acknowledged as a leader in compliance management by colleagues, co-workers, and community members alike. From 2018 to 2025 Tonia served as the senior vice president and director of compliance for QCR Holdings Inc. (a publicly traded company - QCR) where she led a team of seven in federal and state regulatory compliance, fair lending, anti-money laundering, and bank examinations.
Tonia began her career as a compliance officer for OgdenBanc Shares in 2001 and then worked as an internal auditor for Community State Bank in 2008 (part of QCR Holdings, Inc.). She continued her career in 2010 as a compliance coordinator for the Iowa Bankers Association until becoming a compliance manager for PolicyWorks LLC in 2015.
Prior to embarking on her professional journey, Tonia earned a Bachelor of Science in hotel, motel and restaurant management from Iowa State University in 1995. Well-qualified in her field, she is a certified regulatory compliance manager, community bank internal auditor, and fair lending expert. She also holds certification as a BSA and anti-money laundering professional. Tonia is a member of the American Bankers Association, the Iowa Bankers Association and the Independent Community Bankers Association, and is a certified public speaker.
Tonia is currently the President and CEO of Delightful Insight, LLC. which aims to support successful small and medium size business owners and entrepreneurs in three foundational steps to building a better business: simplify, strengthen, shine! You may be wondering, what does Tonia and Delightful Insight, LLC have to do with creative consulting solutions and the Kate Shu Collective? The easy answer is... everything. Tonia's approach to problem solving veers away from traditional form and "feel" and finds creative ways to make hard things FUN.
